If power drops below the set cut-off level, Power Magic Pro automatically cuts power to the dashcam, thus saving your vehicle’s battery life. When vehicle’s ignition is off, Power Magic Pro checks your vehicle’s battery voltage periodically while powering your BlackVue. The entire AutoInstruct fleet is fitted with BlackVue dashcams and we could not be happier with the result. When your vehicle is switched off the Power Magic Pro supplies power to your BlackVue Camera from your vehicle’s battery according to the configured voltage and timers, thereby preventing complete vehicle battery discharge. A low voltage power cut-off function and a parking mode timer protect your car battery from discharge. In addition, the timer function only works when the engine is switched OFF. If the timer is configured, the product supplies power to the vehicle driver recorder until the configured time has lapsed and then cuts off the power to BlackVue. Note: Setting of 12.5V or 23.2V (heavy vehicle) is recommended for safer voltage cut-off as to protect vehicle's battery performance and life. Note: If the vehicle is not driven continuously for a few days, we recommend to turn Parking Mode Switch to OFF. You need to use Cellink B battery option instead for parking mode if: 1) Power connection is only permits from cigar jack socket and not from fuse panel. All connection is protected with safety fuse. Power Magic Pro requires power from car battery and connection is tapped from fuse box / fuse panel. Power solutions for BlackVue with Power Magic Pro or Cellink B Battery. BlackVue dashcams automatically switches to Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle, but only writes to the memory card when motion or impact detected. The switch allows you to enable or disable the parking mode with ease. The design allows the unit to be installed neatly, normally below the dashboard and without exposing any of the cable.

It will automatically cuts off the power to BlackVue when voltage of car battery drops below the threshold voltage setting or the timer had lapsed (whichever comes first). The timer can be set from 6 hours to infinite. Power Magic Pro will cut the power to the BlackVue based on both Timer and Voltage Cut-off value, whichever comes first.
